I was born and raised in Arlington, Virginia - along the Potomac River shore adjacent to Georgetown, DC. That was a great place to grow up and I enjoyed all that it had to offer. I still reside and work in Arlington from time to time. I attended Bishop O'connell High School and from there went on to college in 1996 at Arizona State University where I graduated with a degree in Business and Sociology. I feel these areas of study were a great foundation for a career in the real estate world.
After college, I worked at my Father's Law Firm in Washington, DC for a handful of years before headiing south to Miami Beach, FL where I became a luxury real estate agent with one of the top and most resected boutique realty firms in South Beach, Zilbert Realty Group. At Zilbert, I learned all the tricks of the trade and was trained by the best of the best. I am grateful for that experience and still maintain a working real estate relationship in Miami (southbeachrealestate.net).
In 2012, I moved back to DC from Miami and began working on drumming up real estate business locally there, it was fruitful and a nice change back from the tropical setting of Miami that was fun and wild. I ended up creating a DC/VA real estate brokerage firm, Stonely Realty (stonelyrealty.com - named after Stonely, England where an ancestor of mine is from that became the first President of the Jamestown Colony in Virigina, Edward-Maria Wingfield). I still enjoy the traveling back and forth to DC and Miaim for work and pleasure as it is a terrific balance of excitement and grounded.
In 2016 I decided on a second home in Charleston, and by January 2017 I had a nice house to enjoy and to start getting to know the area better. I had been visitiing Charleston since 2001 and was amazed by it's growth, culture and it's ability to maintain it's southern charm. In 2020 I moved to Mt Pleasant and now enjoy almost daily tennis at The I'On Club, a network of amazing friends and my family loves the lifestyle S MtP has to offer. I have a daugher in school at Ashley Hall and a daughter at Porter-Gaud that are the apples of my eye, they are precious and a lot of fun.
I launched The Charleston Group with my good friend and stellar salesperson, Eric Blackstone and couldn't be happier with our vision and mission. Reach out to either of us today to catch up, get to know us, or talk about your real estate needs, challenges or goals.
